Hotter days ahead for Odisha as mercury to rise sharply from next week – N.F Times


Bhubaneswar: After a brief lull in hot weather conditions across Odisha, the mercury is likely to shoot up again from next week.

As per the weather bulletin issued by the Bhubaneswar MeT of IMD, there will be no large change in maximum temperature during the next 24 hours. The day temperature will rise sharply by 6-8 degree Celsius during the subsequent 4-5 days at many places over the districts of Odisha.

The hot and humid weather conditions are likely to prevail at one or two places in the districts of Cuttack, Nayagarh, Boudh, Angul and Khordha on April 14 (Sunday).

The regional meteorological centre issued a heatwave alert for several districts from April 15.

According to the MeT, heatwave condition is likely to prevail at one or two places over the districts of Cuttack, Nayagarh, Malkangiri, Koraput, Angul and Dhenkanal on April 15 (Monday).
