Series Of Bombs Hurled In Cuttack Following Group Clash – N.F Times


Cuttack: A series of bombs were hurled at Belanta village under Tigiria police limits in Cuttack district last night following a clash in the region.

According to sources, around 10 bombs were hurled at various locations in the village, causing widespread fear among the villagers. Previous dispute between the two groups is slated to be the reason behind bomb hurling.

As per the report, a long-standing feud between two groups erupted into a violent clash last night, with both sides indulging in bomb hurling. However, no casualties were reported.

Upon being informed, a police team led by an Athagarh Sub-Divisional Police Officer reached the spot and tried to restore peace in the village.
