Gautam Gambhir is New Head Coach of Indian Men's Cricket Team | Pragativadi | Odisha News, Breaking News Odisha, Latest Odisha News – N.F Times

Gautam Gambhir officially took over as India’s head coach on Tuesday, succeeding Rahul Dravid. Dravid said his goodbyes to Rohit Sharma and the team following their T20 World Cup 2024 triumph, which marked his last stint as the head coach of the Indian side.

Prior to the T20 World Cup, Dravid had made it clear that he would not seek an extension following the conclusion of the ICC event.

Gambhir will officially begin his tenure in July and will serve until December 31, 2027, which marks the year of the next ODI World Cup.
