Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has revoked the suspension of 1997-batch IPS officer DS Kutey and appointed him as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Home Department.
This decision comes after the Election Commission of India (ECI) had previously directed his suspension for interfering in the conduct of elections.
Kutey was suspended on May 29th, with his headquarters set at the Office of the Resident Commissioner in New Delhi. The state government has now lifted the suspension following the ECI’s decision to do the same.
