Paris: A unique facility near the Olympic shooting range will act as the “home” for the international shooting sports community during the Games, uniting athletes, federations, coaches, sponsors, sporting goods manufacturers, media, and fans with food, drink, dancing, and a VR experience to simulate the sensation of being an Olympic shooter.
The ISSF House, a distinctive promotion and hospitality centre in Chateauroux, France, will open tomorrow (July 26) as the “home” for the international shooting sport family during the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.
Located at 1 Allée de l’Ordre National du Mérite, 36000 Chateauroux, the House will be the exclusive gathering spot for those affiliated with the International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF).
Just a 15-minute drive from the Olympic competition site in central Chateauroux, ISSF House is conveniently reachable for local athletes and visitors from Paris.
Thanks to the backing of premium partners RWS, Beretta, SIUS, and CSG with its brands Fiocchi, Baschieri & Pellagri, and Perazzi, a historic assembly of federation representatives, athletes, coaches, sponsors, sporting goods manufacturers, international media, and shooting sports enthusiasts will be facilitated during this paramount sporting event.
The ISSF extends its profound gratitude to Official partner Capapie and Supporting partners Mattarelli and Suooter.
ISSF House, situated in a historic edifice in Chateauroux, will welcome guests by invitation only from tomorrow until the conclusion of the shooting events on August 5.
It will provide a hospitable and comfortable haven for athletes, international media, shooting sports community members, and various distinguished guests, complete with a dedicated meet-and-greet zone.
This initiative will bolster the global perception and engagement with shooting sports, beginning with the Olympic Opening Ceremony on July 26 and continuing throughout the Games.
