Balasore: Six students of Baniasia Primary School under Kedarpur panchayat in Balasore district became ill after eating a mid-day meal on Saturday.
The students are identified as Janmajay Das, Subhalakhmi Behera, Rajashree Behera, Subhalakhmi Panda, Bhagyasri Das, and Bidusmita Behera.
as per reports, egg curry and rice were served to at least 35 students for lunch. Following the meal, the above six students experienced stomach and chest pain.
Teachers promptly transported the sick students to Soro Hospital via 108 ambulances. The students are stable after receiving initial treatment.
