Bargarh: A retired senior clerk in Bargarh district was sentenced to undergo three years of rigorous imprisonment for misappropriating govt money.
The accused has been identified as Dukalu Dharua, Ex-Sr. Clerk and I/c Cashier of Sohela Block (Retired), Dist-Bargarh.
Dharua was charge-sheeted by Odisha Vigilance for misappropriation of Govt. money by adopting illegal means, was convicted by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Sambalpur and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for 3 years and a fine.
Odisha Vigilance will now move the competent authority for the stoppage of the pension of Dukalu Dharua, following his conviction.
