Four Killed, Several Injured as Oil Tanker Collides with Passenger Bus in Ganjam – N.F Times


Ganjam: Four persons were killed while several others sustained injuries after an oil tanker collided with a passenger bus at Berhampur Samarjhola Street under Hinjili police limits in Odisha’s Ganjam district.

As per reports, the passenger bus travelling from Aska to Berhampur collided with an oil tanker heading in the opposite direction. Attempting to overtake a truck, the tanker crashed into the bus.

The collision’s force caused the tanker to flip over onto a roadside tea shop. The impact was so severe that two people died on the spot, while others were critically injured and rushed to a nearby hospital.

Two more individuals succumbed to their injuries at the hospital, bringing the death toll to four. Many others sustained injuries in the accident and are receiving treatment at the hospital. Meanwhile, police reached the spot and further investigation into the incident is underway.
