PM Modi and PM Mitsotakis Reaffirm Commitment to Strengthen India-Greece Strategic Partnership – N.F Times


 

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Greek counterpart, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, reaffirmed their commitment to the India-Greece Strategic Partnership.

During a recent telephone conversation, the two leaders discussed various avenues to enhance cooperation, particularly in trade, defense, shipping, and connectivity.

Prime Minister Mitsotakis congratulated PM Modi on his re-election and expressed optimism about the future of India-Greece relations. Both leaders appreciated the momentum generated in bilateral ties through recent high-level exchanges, including PM Mitsotakis’s visit to India earlier this year.

The conversation also touched upon regional and global issues, with a particular focus on the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) and developments in West Asia. The leaders agreed to continue working closely to deepen their strategic partnership and explore new areas of collaboration.

PM Modi shared the details of their discussion on his social media, stating, “Yesterday, had a productive conversation with PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis, reaffirming our shared commitment to strengthening the India-Greece Strategic Partnership. Together, we aim to deepen our collaboration across trade, defense, shipping, and connectivity. Greece is a valued partner for India within the EU.”
