The 39th National Junior Athletics Championship is scheduled to take place at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar, with 78 athletes representing Odisha.
From December 7 to 11, the 39th National Junior Athletics Championship will be hosted at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar. Approximately 2000 athletes are expected to compete over the five-day event.
Haryana will send the largest contingent with 150 athletes, while Odisha will have 78 participants, including 43 male and 35 female athletes.
Odisha Sports Minister Suryabansi Suraj stated that the event, running from December 7 to 11 at Kalinga Stadium, will feature 78 athletes from Odisha. He expressed his hopes for outstanding performances from all competitors.
Notably, Odisha has already hosted several sporting events this year, including the 27th National Federation Senior Athletics, the 70th Odisha State Senior and Junior Athletics Championship, and the 35th East Zone Junior Athletics Championship.
