Bureau Head (PKB) : The preparatory meeting for smooth organization of the car festival of the three deities Lord Jagarnath, Mahaprabhu Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra was held on Saturday inside the conference hall of Jeypore municipality. This was reported by Yosoda Gadaba, SDPRO, Jeypore. The meeting being chaired by MLA, Jeypore Taraprasad Bahinipati along with the presence of Sub Collector Bedabar Pradhan, Tahasildar Sagarika Sadangi, Executive Officer Siddhartha Patnaik, Chairman, Municipality Narendra Mahanty discussed a variety of issues regarding the smooth and peaceful conduct of the 9th day long festival in the town. There would be no disturbances during the festival that was discussed in the meeting. The police administration won’t allow any political people nor any unlimited numbers for creating unnecessary disturbances during the pious occasion. The PHD dept was asked for making sufficient supply of drinking water. The electrical dept would look after the hustle free supply of current with provision of Generator. Accordingly, all the depts including TPSODL, Fire, Police, PHD were instructed to remain vigilant and attentive in rendering due cooperation on the occasion, so that people can enjoy the festival without facing any hurdles and disturbances. The meeting was also attended by all those members associated with the Lord Jagarnath Temple, Jeypore.
