Rourkela : The two member team of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant comprising Mr. Prakash Chandra Sahu, Senior Manager (F&A) and Mr. Vikram Kumar Patel, Manager (F&A) emerged as the 1st Runners up in the Final Round of ‘Rann Niti’, the Director (Personnel)’s Cup 2022 organised at Management Training Institute, Ranchi on 7th October 2022. Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, ED (MTI) handed over the Certificate of Merit, a trophy and a cash award of Rs. 15,000/- on behalf of Mr. K K Singh, Director (Personnel), SAIL who attended the function online.
Director Personnel congratulated the winners and the participants of the competition and urged all to use the expertise and contribute in the overall growth of the company.IISCO, Burnpur was the winner of the competition whereas team from Durgapur Steel Plant was adjudged as the 2nd runners up.
Notably, 100 teams participated at the plant level out of which 17 qualified for the final rounds. “The RAN-NITI Director Personnel’s Cup Awards aims to develop competency in group decision making process, analyzing and implementing business strategies to create effective managers.
