During the week long observance of Vigilance Awareness -2022, various programmes and competitions are being organised by Vigilance Department of SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant for the employees of Bhilai Steel Plant, their family members as well as for the students of various colleges and schools around the vicinity of Bhilai Steel Plant. Objective of these programmes and competitions is to sensitize them towards the issues related to corruption, ethical behavoius in the work place as well as in the society and importance of transparency, ethical behaviour, integrity and accountability in the workplace and in the governace.
In the various series of the competition, a Mega Quiz Competition named Vig_Quest-2022 was organised in association with HRDC Department of BSP on 31.10.2022 for the employees of Bhilai Steel Plant. The objective of this quiz competition was to help BSP Executives/Non-executives to develop their knowledge and awareness regarding the CVC, CBI, other anti- corruption organisations/agencies, various anti corruption drives, Vigilance and its functions, Systems, Procedures, Rules/Regulations of the Organisations including PCP, SAIL CDA Rules etc.
A great response was received in this competition. Before selection of top six teams for the Mega Finale, a screening round was held on the same day. Finale was completed with three thrilling rounds. Sh. Vikas Piprani, SM (SP-III) and Sh. Ashish Agrawal, SM (T&D) were the Quiz Masters of the Vig_Quest-2022. During the competition, quiz masters had also engaged the audience by asking various pass-on questions.
Team of Sh. Umesh Malyath, SM (OP-II) and Sh. Nivesh Vijyan, Mgr. (Pers) was the Winner of the Vig_Quest-2022 while Team of Sh. Himanshu Verma, Mgr. (SMS-3), Aiman Ali, Mgr. (EMD) and Team of Ms. Shalini Chaurasiya, AM (Pers) and Sh. Umesh Sahu, SM (Projects) was respectively the 1st and 2nd Runner-ups of the competition. Apart from the top three slots, three consolation prizes and various audience prizes were also awarded on the spot during the quizzing. The whole programme was compared by Sh. Subhash Patel, SM (HRDD). In the last of the Mega Quiz, words of motivation were delivered by Sh. Satyabrat Kar, GM (Vigilance) and Sh. Sanjay Dhar, CGM (HRDD &BE).
