Bhubaneswar : Utkal University celebrate its 80th birthday (foundation day). To gress the occasion Executive Director of All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) – Bhubaneswar Professor Ashutosh Biswas was joined as chief guest by addressing the students and all audiences, he said that Utkal University is the temple of learning, It is the best university on glob. In the history, geography, culture and language we can see the uniqueness of this university acept Utkal University we can’t find this uniqueness in any other universities. He said giving education and learning both equally plays a important roles. I m so proud to be a alumni of this university and standing here as a chief guest after 45 year. he expressed his happiness and wish all students a good luck for their aspiring life .

In the beginning of foundation day celebration Registrar to Utkal University Dr. Avaya Kumar Nayak said “Athithi Debo bhava” so need of any introduction to all the devo we have among us. Chairman of Post Graduate Council Professor Durga Shankar Pattnaik, present the annual report of Utkal University and expressed his happiness on this occasion.
