Buruea Head : A man named as Nirmal Kumar Dey of bj2 ambaguda died on the spot In an accident that took place in NH 326 near Jeypore airstrip , in Koraput of Odisha. A loaded truck no OR10 C/ 5863 ran over the man in a bike killing him on the spot near Jeypore airstrip.This was reported by Sankar Panda , SI of Jeypore Sadar police station. After the accident,there was huge gathering of people seen near the spot as people were protesting against the police for immediately taking away the dead body. As per the information received from investigating officer SI Raj kishor Barik, the accident on the NH 326 killed a man identified as Nirmal Kumar Dey belonging to BJ2 Ambaguda.
The NH 326 from Sadar police station, Jeypore upto Ambaguda is allegedly reported by many local people as narrow and not so wide following which major issues of traffic jam and road accidents are a common factor.
