Sonepur : A rally was demonstrated to make the youth and volunteers to donate blood in large scale at Subalaya Village. A blood donation has been planned to be organized at Kalyan Mandap at Subalaya by the Jagannath Sena working volunteers of Jagannath Temple placed at Subalaya Village. The volunteers and sena members demonstrated pla=card and shouted with some slogans to make the people aware of the benefit of donating blood and urged the youth to come forward to donate blood to save the life of the sick and needy. The rally was led by the working members of Jagannath Sena namely, Chandramani Bagh, Pramod Podh, Santosh Pujari, Chandan Sahu, Kishore Meher, Bharat Agrawala, Anand Agrawala, Padmanava Meher, Raja Behera respectively. The Dist. Junior Red Cross Officer, Sonepur(JRCO) Sj. Rabi Chandra Pasayat, State Awardee Social Worker-cum-teacher Sj. Ram Narayan Dash, JRC Resource Person Chandramani Bagh, Chandra Shekhar Mahapatra, Hrushikesh Chand, Gopesh Panda, Upendra Sahu, Ranjit Padhan respectively extended support and encouraged the blood donors and organizers. The Blood Bank technicians Dr. Biswanath Rath, Sj. Subash Chandra Panda, Data Operator Jagat Darwan, staff Judhisthir Naik drew 77 units of blood from the donors respectively.
