Sonepur, ( Pawan Agrawal ) : The Junior Red Cross District Branch ,Subarnapur initiated regular Blood Donation Movement to compensate the short fall of Blood to be supplied to the needy and sick ones for protecting lives. To materialize this proposition, the Junior Red Cross Society , Subarnapur organized a-two-day Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at District Blood Bank , Subarnapur. About 52 Blood Units were collected from donors during this camp. Inaugurating this VBD Camp Sri Laxman Bhoi, District Education Officer, Sonepur urged that the JRC Counsellors, Teachers, Youth Volunteers should come forward to donate blood in large scale to expedite the actions as the saviours to the sick and needy ones of the society. This pious act would save many a lives of the community which pronounces the target of Red Cross. The other dignitaries and JRC Officials who attended this camp to encourage the donors were Dr. Durgadatta Dash, Blood Bank Officer, Subarnapur, Sj Gati Krishna Mishra, Vice-Chairman, JRC, Sj Ashis Kumar Rath, Nodal HM, MR High School, Sonepur, , Sj Prashanna Kumar Sahu, HM, Sagarpali High School, Sj . Ram Naryan Dash, State Awardee Social Worker-cum-Teacher, Balangir, Sj. Kalia Karmi, HM, Mursundhi High School respectively. The District Junior Red Cros Officer(JRCO), Sonepur Sj Rabi Chandra Pasayat co-rdinated the entire activities of the camp. The leading donors of the camp were Sj. Chandramani Bagh, Chandra Shekhar Mahapatra, Gopesh Panda, Sasmita Hota, Jagat Darwan, Sudam Biswal, Biswanath Meher, Judhistsir Nayak, Rebati Mahapatra, Tito Bhoi and Subash Chandra Panda respectively.
