Sonepur, (Pawan Agarwal ): Red Cross has been a worldwide organization which has social implication for rendering pro-active social service and to match these objectives Junior Red Cross Subarnapur has organized a Jalachhatra at Pandakital Charchowk by Junior Red Cross Unit of Nodal Upper Primary School to supply drinking water to the travellers. The District Education Officer, Sonepur(DEO) inaugurated the Jalachhatra and appreciated the steps taken by the JRC Units to provide drinking water, Dahi Chala, Jaljeera and Belapana to the tired travellers, bikers, passengers in Buses, other vehicles and transfer them the knowledge of First Aid to combat the Sun stroke and fight against Corona New Variant by initiating proper hand hygiene practice and maintaining social distancing. The Additional District Education Officer, Sonepur (ADEO) Dr. Radhakanta Gartia, the Golden Hour Hero Awardee Teacher and Rakshak Resource Person of Deng High School, Balangir Sj. Ram Narayan Dash, Vice-Chiarman Sj. Gatikrishna Mishra, Junior Red Cross Officer Sj. Rabi Chandra Pasayat, the local Sarapanch Sj. Gobinda Seth, Retd. Teaher Sj. Giri Mijhi attended the programme as the Hon’ble guests respectively. attended as the Chief Speaker in the meeting. The headmaster Sj. Hemsagar Bishi took the responsibility to managing this social service camp. The Senior Resource Person Hrushikesh Dang co-ordinate the meeting. The Counsellors and Rakshak Resource Person Miss. Tapaswini Dash gave the introductory speech. The other Resource Person and Counsellor who attended the programme were Sj. Chandramani Bagh, Tarangini Mahapatra, Rabindranath Dip, Ghansashyam Meher, Janhabi Bhoi, Reeta Meher respectively.The Block Coordinator(BCC) Sj. Nimai Charan Mallik passed vote of thanks.
