Bhubaneswar: Indian National Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge will visit Odisha in January of 2024, reports said.
Sarat Patnaik, President, Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee, and Chella Kumar, party in-charge for Odisha, met Kharge in New Delhi on Thursday and discussed about party’s organization in the state.
They also apprised Kharge regarding party programmes in Odisha ahead of the General Elections.
After conclusion of the meeting, Patnaik invited Kharge to visit Odisha.
On the other hand, Patnaik was scheduled to visit eminent Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi today and invite them to visit Odisha in January.
Patnaik is currently on a three-day visit to Delhi.
