Bhubaneswar: A 28-year-old youth reportedly died after he collapsed on the field while playing cricket in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha today.
The deceased has been identified as Bikash Kar, son of Baidyanath Kar, of Manatri village under Baisinga police station in Mayurbhanj.
Bikash collapsed on the field while playing a practice match at Manatri Mini Stadium today morning. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
On being informed, police reached the spot and sent the body for postmortem after registering an unnatural death case in this regard.
