Bhubaneswar: An FIR was lodged today with Nayapalli police against Odia actor Buddhaditya Mohanty for allegedly threatening a man named Rabindranath Panda, who claims to be a film producer.
As per the FIR, the actor took to various social media platforms and defamed Rabindranath. Allegedly, the 59-year-old complainant, identified as the son of one Balakrushna Panda and a resident of the locality in Bhubaneswar was also warned with dire consequences by the actor saying ‘See you soon’.
Even to the extent, Rabindranath was threatened by Buddhaditya that his career would be spoiled in the future. The complainant was scolded by the actor through the former’s WhatsApp number using abusive language, which was immediately deleted by the latter. Rabindranath has produced around nine films and he has been in the profession for more than a decade, the FIR mentioned.
