Chief Secy Manoj Ahuja, ACS Nikunja Bihari Dhal Pay Courtesy Visit To Odisha CM Mohan Majhi – N.F Times


Bhubaneswar: After assuming charge, Chief Secretary of Odisha Manoj Ahuja and Additional Chief Secretary Nikunja Bihari Dhal paid a courtesy visit to Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at the State Guest House in Bhubaneswar on Monday afternoon.

As per reports, Chief Minister Majhi engaged in discussions with CS Ahuja and ACS Dhal on various administrative issues and forthcoming initiatives designed to advance the state’s development agenda.

Ahuja assumed the charge of Odisha’s new Chief Secretary on Sunday. The 1990-batch IAS officer from the Odisha cadre succeeded the former Chief Secretary, Pradeep Kumar Jena, a 1989-batch IAS officer, at Lok Seva Bhavan in Bhubaneswar.

In addition, Dhal was designated as the Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister of Odisha on the same day. The 1993-batch IAS officer from the Odisha cadre had previously held the position of Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) for the state during the General and State Assembly elections in 2024.

Before his tenure as Odisha’s CEO, Dhal was the Additional Chief Secretary of the Energy Department and served as the Odisha Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) in 2023.
