New Delhi: To resolve the ongoing potato supply crisis in Odisha, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi convened with West Bengal’s Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, in New Delhi on Saturday.

CM Majhi raised concerns about Odisha’s potato shortage, which has been exacerbated by limited supplies from West Bengal, resulting in escalating prices. He requested CM Banerjee’s assistance to normalize the potato supply from West Bengal, a key producer.

The meeting aimed to devise a resolution for the crisis and stabilize the potato distribution to Odisha. Notably, both Chief Ministers were in New Delhi for the NITI Aayog meeting, presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
