New Delhi: Traffic disruptions were reported in parts of Delhi due to travel restrictions following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Palwal district in Haryana on Tuesday.
Commuters took to social media to express their frustrations over traffic congestion and route diversions.
The Faridabad Police released a travel advisory limiting the entry of both heavy and light motor vehicles into Palwal district from Faridabad and Delhi during specified hours, as reported by the Republic news website. These restrictions are in effect for vehicles on the Agra-Mathura Highway (NH 44).
Complete traffic advisory for today:
Commuters are advised to seek alternative routes in lieu of the ones affected by today’s travel restrictions. The full traffic advisory by Faridabad Police is in response to PM Modi’s visit, allowing those in Delhi to plan their journeys near the Delhi-Haryana border accordingly.
-Vehicles are prohibited from entering Palwal from Faridabad or Delhi via the Agra-Mathura Highway (NH-44) from 9 am to 6 pm, as per the advisory from Faridabad Police reported by News9live.

-Drivers travelling from Faridabad to Palwal may use the KMP/KGP expressways or the Vadodara Expressway.
