Three-Day Training of Junior Red Cross Society

Bureau Head(PKB) : With the objective of making the Red Cross activities more oriented and largely pervasive, a three -Day training Program of the advisors of Red cross Society came to the end with huge participation of members. The National Red cross society and also by the active cooperation of the state Red Cross along with the district level Junior Red Cross society organized a three day training program at Kakiriguma high school under the presidentship of the district education officer Mr. Rama Chandra Nahak. On the inaugural session of the Junior Red Cross Training program, Prof(.Dr) Gopal Krushna Nayak of Sahid Laxman Nayak Medical College joined as Chief Guest along with Mr.Kailash Chandra Behera, BEO, Laxmipur and Prafula Kumar Mishra, BEO, Bandhugaon as Guest of honour. graced the occasion. The district science coordinator Mr. Chandrakala Bagarti who graced the advisors training program while addressing to the gathering told about the objective of Junior Red Cross. Mr. Upendra Sunani, the headmaster of Kakiriguma High school gave the formal introduction of the guests sitting on the dias. Mr. Bhima Behera, Secretary of district Junior red cross, stated about the objective of the training. The junior red cross officer of koraput Mr. Jagyaswar Panda was seen managing the stage while Mr. Jyotiranjan Nanda proposed the vote of thanks
It was known that around thirty number of advisors joined the program from fourteen blocks of koraput district. A battery of topics like Child Labour, child protection, disaster management and many more were widely discussed. A blood donation camp was also organized in which twentyfive units of blood were collected. At last, Mr. Sanjeeb Bishoyi proposed the vote of thanks
