Banpur : (sk. mohinul haque) : Govt.of odisha, Panchayatrai and Drinking water supply and rural piped water supply project prepare all furnished “Basudha’ at Bhatapada since 6 to 7 years before. This unit control the drinking water 4to5 villages sorounding the said village. But lack of problem that drinking water not supplied properly due to the negligency of concern dept. officers which is very tragic incident.Villagers are using river and stream water as their drinkig water for a long time. Another major drinking water supply unit in block level is RWSS dig 13to14 borwels which is not properly functioning,most of the tubewels are in a state of disapear. Villagers and the pupils representative inform the JE.RWSS and PHD-1 JE.also to be intimated BDO ,banpur regularly. So far local officers still then has not taken any such action.CM of odisha respected Navin pattanaik promising to take many steps for the wefare and upliftment of the tribals has complitely failed to deliver the arbitrariness of the local officials. Govt. proposes many projects for the tribal development but remains unfulfilled . Local authoriries showing lots of problems in later period. Its the duty of the local officer that they never shown the proper physibility report.So autpmatically the projects are not properly froutful.
